The Department of Oil and Gas Engineering held a ceremony to distribute certificates of appreciation for the Third International Conference on Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology on Wednesday, 12/13/2023, in the PT5 hall in the branch building.

The celebration began with a speech delivered by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Fadel Sarhan Kazem, in which he thanked all the students who contributed to the success of the Third International Conference and praised their volunteer efforts in serving the department.

The head of the department, Prof. Dr., took turns distributing certificates of appreciation. Fadel Sarhan Kazem, the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdel Kadhim Al-Rubaie, the head of the branch, Dr. Imad Abdel Hussein, and the teaching representative, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Ramadan.


 

 

The head of the department, Prof. Dr. Fadel Sarhan Kazem, inspected the first semester exams for the second, third, and fourth academic levels for the academic year 2023-2024, on Sunday, December 24, 2023, in the halls of the branch building.

The head of the department was briefed on the progress of the examination process, praising the efforts made by the examination committee and all professors and members of the department in providing the necessary supplies to the students and overcoming the difficulties facing them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 



 

 

 

As part of the activities of International Anti-Corruption Day and the Annual Integrity Week, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering held an awareness seminar entitled: The role of social cultural awareness in protecting society from administrative, financial and moral corruption, in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul Kadhim Al-Rubaie, and the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Ramzi Hamid Sayhoud. And a number of teaching staff and associates.The lecture was given by M. M. Haneen Rashid Majeed from the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the Presidency of the University of Technology. The lecture touched on the factors encouraging the emergence of corruption and the effects of corruption on the Iraqi economy.At the conclusion of the symposium, the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Ramzi Hamid Sayhoud, on behalf of the Department Head, Prof. Dr. Fadel Sarhan Kazem, presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer for her fruitful efforts in making the symposium a success.
