The Oil and Gas Engineering Department/Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held an awareness symposium entitled: (Iraq and the War on Terrorism - The Role of Financial Institutions in Combating Terrorist Financing) on ​​Wednesday, 3/20/2024, in the Okaz Hall in the department building, in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul Kadhim Al-Rubaie, the head of the branch, Prof. Imad Abdul Hussein Fakher, the department rapporteur, Dr. Muayyad Muhammad Hassan, and a number of teaching staff and associates.The symposium lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Wahab Ati, in which he spoke about the dangerous phenomenon of terrorism that affects all societies, including Iraq, and how the Iraqi government combated terrorism in all its forms and methods of financing it.
