The Scientific Assistant of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul Kadhim Al-Rubaie while he was in the city of Sulaymaniyah/Kurdistan Region as a lecturer at the Arab Petroleum Institute, Department of Petroleum and Energy Engineering/College of Technical Engineering at Sulaymaniyah Technical University. During the visit, he met with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sifan Hisham Taher, Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sarkout Abdul Rahman Saeed, and a number of the teaching staff in the department. The two parties reviewed the prospects for cooperation between the two departments. The scientific assistant also conveyed the desire of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, headed by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Fadel Sarhan Kazem in opening the horizons of joint scientific cooperation in all academic and research fields in a way that achieves the goals of the two universities.
