An overview of the oil technology research unit in the department
Objectives
1- Promoting scientific research and its outputs to what is of interest and practical benefit to the university and society.
2- Creating an interactive climate among researchers and strengthening ties between them.
3- Building qualified research cadres to carry out their duties in their field of specialization.
4- Transferring and refining scientific and research expertise by including groups of distinguished local and international researchers.
5- Linking the university with society, as well as by including researchers and consultants from various relevant sectors of the state.
The message
Contributing to supporting and developing research work inside and outside the University of Technology through research cooperation between the department and other universities to transfer scientific expertise and apply it. Also expanding the base of cooperation and coordination with state departments and the private sector in order to benefit from the results of completed applied research and link scientific research to the needs of society in light of the scientific problems that come from the oil and industrial sectors.
Research unit activities
1- Providing scientific and technical consultations to state departments and the socialist and mixed sectors.
2- Scientific care for postgraduate students.
3- Contributing to the development of staff through holding joint courses, seminars and workshops.
4- Presenting the results of the work of research groups in scientific seminars or workshops inside or outside the university
